Agreed, but Mondesi needs to go down and bring up Merrifield. He gives you more offense and versatility, plus it delays Mondesi's arbitration clock. Yost needs to mix and match a little more until the offense starts to produce. Moss will be okay. He actually works the count and draws walks. That is in short supply in KC.

There appears to be some urgency on the part of the front office this year. People should remember that Strahm collapsed in his last spring training outing, too. It's been three weeks and he's not found his mechanics, so it was time to let him work out his problems at the AAA level. Mondesi may still be over matched a bit. That's a tough one to make a judgment on, but Merrifield would throw in a hit every now and then and he plays solid D at 2B. I definitely disagree on Orlando. He plays solid D, is fast and can hit, although he hasn't had a good start. Using Moss in RF would be a disaster on D. For that change to work, they'd have to move Gordon to RF and put Moss in LF. I think all Moss needs is more AB's. But, to me there's nothing wrong with using Orlando in RF and Moss at DH. They would be marginally better offensively by using Cuthbert at 3B, Moustakas at DH and Moss in LF. That may or may not solve problems. But, it goes back to the idea of urgency. I don't believe this team can afford to slip too far off the pace. Best wishes!
