Agree on nice piece, Clark. I am frequently upset with Yost, but Saturday was not his fault. You have to leave Duffy in. Pitch count is readily available to everyone. There is no reason not to have someone start warming up sooner on Friday, however, when the entire bullpen was coming off 4 off days. I know Yost was burned in Milwaukee, but he has to play to win every game now. This isn't the time for the marathon analogies. At least he had an A-team lineup on the field on Sunday.

The only absolute requirement to get to the playoffs is this: win more games than any team in your division. At this point, even the Tigers are within range of the division lead. Kansas City shouldn't be happy with the way they're playing, but luck counts. It's a weak division. Nice article.
