I want them to trade Whit because I have a great fear of him crashing back down to earth. I loved watching Whit play, but his value is at its peak right now. The down side to him is that there are a lot of 2B types available. The upside is that Whit can play multiple positions, unlike most all of the other available 2B.

I will be disappointed if Herrera and/or Soria are on the roster on opening day. Moore has shown he has a knack for finding bargain bin types who turn into late-inning stalwarts.

I could honestly envision trades of both Duffy and Merrifield this offseason. With all the buzz around Nicky Lopez the team may look into trading Whit and rolling with a Lopez/Mondesi middle infield. As far as Duffy goes, Dayton Moore seems to have a pretty strict moral compass and I could see his DUI being a factor as well as salary relief. The one player I want to see get a good long look next year is Hunter Dozier, I think he could be a solid big leaguer
