First of all...LOVE the story title.
Duda may not block Dozier but he does block Ryan O'Hearn who is having another excellent ST. FYI - I wonder if Royals made decision to sign Duda after watching Dozier struggle at 1st in practice the first week. And FYI, Royals now say Dozier will play 3rd and OF in AAA with O'Hearn and Schwindel at 1st (and DH). So Dozier will not get reps in Omaha at 1st.
I understand Royals needed a LH power bat but the best one was to trade for Cory Dickerson. Instead we got Duda and now Jay. At least Jay really doesn't block Starling who most likely would not have seen KC before Super 2 date in June.
The latest one is Ricky Nolasco. Although minor league deal have to wonder if he is reaction to Hahn DL move plus Karns not coming up well after his start. Course if Karns does start year on DL, I would much rather see Oaks, Skoglund or Gaviglio get that spot than give it to Nolasco. But you know Dayton. Why give your own prospect a chance when there is always another team's reject just waiting to come to KC.
