David,
I want to apologize for the "weird follow" comment regarding the Esky thing. I'm always going to stand up for my boys, but that came across as harsher than I wanted it to be.

Good luck and Go Royals,

Is there no longer going to be a BP Kansas City? I have read almost all of the writings on this site and always found them to be entertaining, interesting and full of insight. It will be sorely missed by fans of the Royals. Where else could we go to get our fix? Thanks, good luck and Happy New Year.

[…] put a great deal of stock in what Clint writes. As it should be. Our number one post in 2018 was his re-ranking of the prospects in the system about a month after the conclusion of the draft. Another favorite of mine was this profile of Bryan […]

I totally agree about the shift. There are much bigger fish to fry if MLB wants to help its future appeal.

Also agree about getting a catcher who frames better. Is this something Ned does not believe in? If pitching is the currency of baseball, Royals should carry at least one catcher who does it well. And it that is Gallagher, that should be a done deal.

Agree Jack about 40-man, and there are so many OFs with similar skill sets. For those that say you can't have too many OFs, I guess I would say the same thing about pitchers. And 3rd basemen do not grow on trees.

David-Thanks for your work covering the Royals. Hope you land in a good place for you and your family.
