Northwest Arkansas Naturals 6, Tulsa Drillers 4

Raul Mondesi blasted a three-run home run in the top of the ninth, breaking a 3-3 tie and lifting the Naturals to a win. Mondesi’s homer was his fifth of the season after he hit six in 81 games last year. It followed a two-out error that let Ramon Torres reach base and an Orlando Calixte single. All of the Naturals’ runs came on home runs, as Calixte, Hunter Dozier, and Frank Schwindel each hit solo shots, all off Dodgers prospect Chase De Jong. Starting pitcher Alec Mills worked six strong innings but allowed three straight hits to start the seventh, and Tulsa scored three runs to tie the game.
